
Lesson Study in Future Teacher Education (LIFT) is and ERASMUS+ project (2024 – 2027) that aims to develop a European blueprint for the professional development approach Lesson Study to support pre-service teachers and their teacher educators in initial teacher education. Experts from the Netherlands, Ireland, Estonia, Cyprus, Portugal and Switzerland are collaborating in this project.
Lesson Study is all about the process where teachers collaboratively learn from students´ learning. Lesson Study combines practical knowledge with research on lessons. The main aim is for teachers to learn about the impact of their teaching activities on student learning.

Dr Sui Lin Goei is a professor at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and in this 5-minute video she as the LIFT project coordinator introduces the main focus and outcomes of the LIFT project.
