LIFT Project – Lesson Study in Future Teacher Education

LIFT Project at LS2INCLUDE Seminar

The LIFT project was featured by Stéphane Clivaz of HEP Vaud during his plenary lecture at the Closing Seminar of the LS2INCLUDE project (Introducing Inclusive Education in Initial Teacher Education through Lesson Study), held on 2 July at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon.

LIFT and LS2INCLUDE share not only a project partner, the University of Lisbon, but also the expertise of renowned education specialists James Calleja and Stéphane Clivaz. Furthermore, both projects are driven by a common objective: improving teaching and learning by strengthening the relationship between initial teacher education and collaborative, reflective school practice. Through their respective approaches, the projects contribute to the development of more inclusive, evidence-informed, and practice-oriented teacher education systems.

The seminar provided an important platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing how European educational initiatives can work towards shared goals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in teacher education.

We are pleased to see the LIFT Project represented in this international context and to contribute to ongoing discussions on the future of teacher education in Europe.
